When students attend dance socials, it helps reinforce all the things taught and practiced in group classes and

private lessons.  Since the goal for most of our students is to be comfortable, confident social dancers,

this is the best way to practice and master all you've learned.

Dance socials are held every odd Saturday evening from 7:30-10pm. The type of dances are wide-ranging from

the more formal Foxtrot, Waltz, and Tango to the up-tempo Swing, Cha Cha, Samba and Hustle.

The socials are open to the public and attract new and experienced dancers from the quad-state area. The cost

is $15 for the entire evening and includes a cash bar.  For couples, it is a great 'date night' and

singles enjoy the opportunity to meet and dance with people of similar interests.

We host Latin Nights on the second and fourth Fridays of the the month. This is an opportunity for students learning Salsa and Bachata to dance and socialize with other dancers from across the area.  There is a lesson at 9:15pm

with dancing going on until past midnight. The cost for the evening is only $15

Dance socials provide the opportunity to meet and associate with people who are active, have healthy attitudes,

and are looking for ways to improve physical and mental well-being.  Many long-term friendships

and business relationships are created at these socials.

Every year, the studio hosts a showcase of choreographed routines performed by students and teachers. It gives students who like to perform an opportunity to show off to friends and family and gives them a goal to work toward. Not all of our students perform but it does gives those who want to an chance to show off.  We share a meal and enjoy a professional show where some of the top competitive dancers in the world show of the beauty of dance. 

There is something about getting up and moving to music that improves our overall health,

cements partnerships and brings people closer together.
